To highlight the Imperial aspect of the Scout Movement the Boy Scouts Imperial Jamboree was held during the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924. The Scout Association published a "Souvenir Volume" as a remembrance of the occasion.

I heartily thank the Boy Scouts from Overseas and the Homeland for their loyal greetings and good wishes. It was a great pleasure to me to inspect some of them here. I am sure they were all glad to meet one another and I hope they have carried away the happiest recollections of their jamboree.

Letter from Sir Robert Baden-Powell, Bart., G.C.V.O., K.C.B.
The Chief Scout of the World

When I have been asked what impressed me most about the Jamboree I have been honestly been able to say it was not the pageantry, it was not the fine appearance of the Boys nor their numbers and efficiency — it was the fact that discipline from within should itself be an established force among them and that they have a true grasp of the ideals of the movement.
And that Scouters are making a success of their training.
